Water Bottle Alternatives You Can Live With

EARTH DAY is now behind us, but it catalyzed a plethora of articles that still keep coming, now this one among them. Because today I turn to one of my favorite environmental topics to rail about — plastic bottles.
I’ve written here before about how unnecessary and polluting are plastic water bottles — both to your body (chemicals) and the environment (can you spell “landfill forever”?), but didn’t specifically offer a bunch of alternatives.
(Actually, I think the alternatives are pretty straightforward, but read on…)
Now, however, due to an abundantly rich selection of plastic water alternatives provided by Jill Donenfeld (founder of the Dish’s Dish), we have a decidedly decisive direction to go.
There’s everything from the stylish stainless steel Camelbak Better Bottle to the 360 Paper Bottle, along with eight other worthy contestants.
And if you don’t think that plastic water bottles have to go, just check out the sad stats and pictures here: this sad set of pictures and statistics.
Nuff said.
